This source code is made publicly VISIBLE so that anyone can read, study, and
audit it, and so that users, miners, and exchanges can verify how the SPN Coin
software works. Publishing the source does NOT place it in the public domain and
does NOT grant open-source rights. The SPN Coin Project (the "Owner") retains all
copyright and all rights not expressly granted below.

This is a "source-available" license. It is deliberately NOT an OSI-approved
open-source license, because it restricts one specific thing: using this code to
launch a competing blockchain or token.


1. DEFINITIONS
   "Software" means this source code, its documentation, and all associated
   files in this repository.
   "Official Network" means the canonical SPN Coin blockchain network operated
   and recognized by the Owner.
   "You" means any person or entity that accesses the Software.


2. RIGHTS GRANTED (what you MAY do)
   The Owner grants You a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:
     (a) view, read, study, and audit the Software's source code;
     (b) download and run the Software to operate a node on, mine on, or
         otherwise participate in the Official Network;
     (c) use the Software for personal, educational, testing, and
         security-research purposes;
     (d) submit fixes or contributions back to the Owner's official repository.


3. RESTRICTIONS (what you MAY NOT do)
   Except with the Owner's prior explicit written permission, You may NOT:
     (a) use the Software, in whole or in part, modified or unmodified, to
         create, launch, operate, host, or promote any separate, alternative,
         forked, derivative, or competing blockchain, cryptocurrency, coin,
         token, or network distinct from the Official Network;
     (b) redistribute, publish, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or offer the
         Software (or any derivative of it) to third parties for the purpose
         described in (a);
     (c) remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, license, or
         proprietary notice contained in the Software;
     (d) use the names "SPN Coin", "Sepanta", any associated logo, or any
         confusingly similar mark to identify a product not authorized by the
         Owner (trademark rights are reserved separately from this license).


4. CONTRIBUTIONS
   By submitting a contribution to the Owner's official repository, You grant the
   Owner a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and
   distribute that contribution as part of the Software.


5. NO WARRANTY
   THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
   IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
   FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. THE SOFTWARE IS
   EXPERIMENTAL. SPN COIN HAS NO GUARANTEED MONETARY VALUE AND IS NOT AN
   INVESTMENT PRODUCT.


6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
   IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OWNER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER
   LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING
   FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS
   IN THE SOFTWARE.


7. TERMINATION
   Any breach of Section 3 automatically terminates the rights granted to You
   under Section 2. Upon termination You must cease all use of the Software.


8. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
   The Software bundles third-party open-source packages, each under its own
   license. See the NOTICE file. This license applies only to the Owner's own
   code, not to those third-party components, which keep their original licenses.
